An attractively maintained garden is often rounded off by the presence of the tree or group of trees that bring an added sense of beauty and volume to the garden. Trees are one of the most appealing features and this is particularly true in an urban setting and this is why many of us are proud of our trees and keeping them in good condition.

However, the presence of trees is not always the good attractive proposition it seems and sometimes they can be more of a nuisance or a hazard, than a good-looking asset.  Indeed, in some cases, for example following a storm, that attractive tree can become quite a hazard. Sadly, trees also become diseased and occasionally can’t be saved. This means the entire tree and stump sometimes need to be removed.

Greenleaf’s experienced tree surgeons are well-versed in the removal of hazardous or diseased trees. This is true even for the largest tree and we have seen some sizeable examples over the years. If you have a large tree near your home then the arrival of a strong wind storm could send it toppling over and hitting your house. Sometimes an emergency tree removal is needed following bad weather. We have both the knowledge and equipment to remove large heavily branched trees without affecting the rest of your property or garden.

Once a tree has been felled the stump remains and this can require stump grinding. Again we have the equipment to do this so your stump is reduced to ground level. We do of course aim to remove the stump and roots where possible but in large trees that is sometimes not achievable or practical.
